ABOUT ME

After enjoying a successful career in both Europe and North America, I arrived in Switzerland with a solid job search strategy that had already been tested on two continents. I was positive I would find a job very soon, and nothing could go wrong.

 

My strategy, however, failed. I felt alone, discouraged and disappointed.

Yet, I did not give up. I wanted to learn and find a different way to succeed.

Despite the many rejections and detours, I kept on refining and retesting my job search strategy based on what I was learning not only about the Swiss job market, but also myself. 

 

Thanks to my perseverance, my dream eventually came true: I landed the job I wanted at a Swiss company, in a new country, new language, new industry and new role. 

 

It took a lot more time and effort than I ever imagined. But what really stood out were the stories of other women expats I met along the way. I kept hearing my own story played back, over and over, as I learned about their job search challenges.

This is what inspired me to gather the strategies, resources and ideas that actually helped me and share that knowledge with other expat women in Switzerland – with you. Because you, too, deserve to land your dream job, fast-track the job search process, tap into others’ experience and get hands-on support, all while feeling empowered and inspired.
